Hello, What techniques are you using for analyzing the usage of your sites?
Are you downloading and analyzing the logs? Do you add log statements that track (user) actions? Are you writing to the datastore directly to keep a history of actions? Per user? With sharding? Are you writing to the memcache only, AppStats like? Are you writing to the memcache, and then periodically writing those to the datastore? Periodically downloading off site? Are you using Google analytics? Or do you just don't analyze user behavior / site usage and hope for the best? I would like to hear your opinions on the pros and cons of different techniques, their impact on performance and ability to understand what is going on with your sites and what your users do / seem to want.
