I'd just add that there is also value in Aptana's plugins for html, css and javascript support but it is not absolutely necessary. Also note that their current release has a bug when installed in Helios (Eclispe 3.6). This bug is not present when installed in older versions of Eclipse. Supposedly they are working on a fix for Helios but I just tried their nightly build and that failed to install.
