Hi, Maybe this isn't the best place to ask this question, but it's Google related and I don't know anywhere else to ask =\
I'm using OpenID authentication for my app, but not everybody has a valid OpenID, and therefore I'm looking for easy ways for them to get one so they can login to my site. I've found a service that offers exactly that [1], but I prefer my users having a Google Account as they might need it later for other services I offer. I have decided to point those users without an OpenId to the official Google Accounts signup page [2], but the problem is that when they submit the form they will be redirected to an unrelated page, and thus will lose the focus on what they were doing (I might even directly lose those users!). This would be easily solved, for example, if the Google Accounts signup page admitted a parameter with the address to redirect the users after they have successfully signed up, which I'm sure is a feature any appengine developer will need sooner or later. Is this solution or a similar one currently available? Can you think of any alternatives?
