To add A record in godaddy, IP is needed. ghs.google.com can't be used as input to "Points to". ghs.google.com can only be used when adding CNAME record. But godaddy doesn't permit wildcard in CNAME entry. Hence, the option I have are adding A record with IP address or using a DNS provider which permits wildcards in CNAME host entries.
