I'm not sure if there really exists a hard limit or not. However, I would not be too surprised if spam filters do not like BCC heavy emails. Also, keep in mind it is the SMTP server that delivers to the users mailbox that strips the BCC addresses, it is not the same as sending multiple emails, recipients might get the full address list.
