Hi,
The main scenario is the following: visitor comes for his first time
to the website-> visitor registers and downloads the desktop software
which asks him for username and password -> the logged-in user works
with the software, eventually causing in connection to the Java module
that does it's destined work and finally updating the db. The Java
module is the running byte code, the website is the registration point
and the place to view your profile, information, etc. And a "by the
way" note: the desktop's software is also Java. I hope it's clear
now.
