How is Moderator different than Groups, IRC and Stack Overflow?

What's uniquely great about IRC is that genuine answers seem to flow more
freely. For example, in this chat transcript you answer the question: what
does throttle_code=x mean (where x = 1 or 2), a question which has been
frustratingly avoided recently here on the groups and on stack overflow.

What's not so great about IRC is the timing, which is why transcripts are so
useful. If you could post the two you have pending, that would be great.
