Yes there is: https://www.google.com/accounts/IssuedAuthSubTokens
Also, note the bottom of the screen. Looks like the DO have
application specific password support, though I might still go with
OAuth.
"An application-specific password grants an application complete
access to your Google Account. You can create a new
application-specific password for each application that needs one. If
you revoke an application-specific password, it can no longer be used
to access your Google data. Learn more"
