It is better on HR than MS, but yeah, you can do "write" and the next line
can be "read" and every so often it won't be there.  There are also
occasions when even on HR you will get a failed write because for whatever
reason "Batman" was there but he wasn't paying attention.

I think someone recently posted to this group, or the python group, about
having occasional situations where a memcache value was not even surviving
for 0.1 seconds.

 

Memcache is like Batman.  Don't turn your back on it and expect it to still
be there when you turn around.
