I would love to know if this works.  My offhand guess is that it won't
because analytics seems tied to the notion of a session, and a zillion
requests from a single IP address (or even worse, a cluster of IP
addresses) will probably confuse it.  But I am by no means an expert.

Please try it and let us know.
