Has Google changed the way that it sends email on behalf of non-gmail users? As early as April 17, 2011, a non-gmail user could, create a Google Account, log into my app and send emails on their behalf. For example, a [email protected] could create a Google Accont, log in to my app and send emails using that address. It the past week or so, I've noticed that this is not possible.
Everyone on SO seems to think it isn't possible to send email on behalf of non-gmail users. But I went through my logs and I noticed that it was possible a few weeks ago. (http://stackoverflow.com/ questions/5917547/how-to-send-an-email-in-gae-on-behalf-of-a-yahoo- hotmail-or-edu-user) Has anything changed?
