Hi,
In your code need to set the socket POLLING_TIMEOUT_MS. I've tested
this, works correctly.
goog.appengine.Socket.POLLING_TIMEOUT_MS = 5000;
DevSocket is exported as Socket at the bottom of the jsapi file.
