Yes they have responded to violations. General rule, if you can't run
Google Adsense against it, it probably won't play on GAE.

Subject: [google-appengine] NSFW content and other program policies

I totally understand that you can't host such content on Google App Engine,
but to what extent can it be linked to? If a user posts a link to a NSFW
site on a GAE app, will that be in violation of the policies?

I'm planning to make something akin to reddit in the sense that it's
user-submitted links about various user-specified topics, I'm considering
using GAE.

These program policies are annoying, they seem so subjective and whimsical.
"hate-related content" could mean a "hate" button (as opposed to "like")
would cause an app to be disabled.

To me, it seems like these policies are more for Google to cover their
asses, rather than serving a practical purpose, has Google responded to any
violations in the past?
