Howdy folks. We do a lot of end-to-end testing and for that reason it really helps to have an API which brings up dev_appserver for you, or deploys an app, or configures the DOS settings, or gives you a pony. Now we are probably not the only ones in App Engine land who would use such a tool, so why not make it open source? I couldn't think of a reason so here it is: http://code.google.com/p/gaedriver/
Beware though, I tagged it pre-alpha. It is lacking Java, Go, and Fortran support, will benefit from user input, and does not give away ponies, yet. If you have feedback, bugs to file, or code to contribute, head over to http://code.google.com/p/gaedriver/. Oh and there is also a separate mailing list http://groups.google.com/group/gaedriver, too. happy testing, robert -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
