Thank's Greg for keeping us informed.

I have a question about the new pricing, specially for the Datastore
Operations.

The bill for today's usage of my app is* *$60.32, including all fees (CPU,
storage, emails, etc.). Looking on the Quota Details, I got the following
numbers for the today's Datastore usage:

*Type* *Count* *Cost/Operation (new pricing)* *Ammount (new pricing)*
Datastore
Entity Put Ops 612295 0,000001 $0,61 Datastore Entity Delete Ops 25042
0,000001 $0,03 Datastore Index Write Ops 2620456 0,000001 $2,62 Datastore
Query Ops 6688767 0,0000007 $4,68 Datastore Entity Fetch Ops 178293618
0,0000007 $124,81 Datastore Id Allocation Ops 0 0,0000001 $0,00 Datastore
Key Fetch Ops 35712 0,0000001 $0,00

*$132,75*

Also, on a spike in traffic today I got 70 instances up and running for
around 30 minutes (Java app without threading yet...). This gives around 70
instances * (30+15 minutes) = 3150 instance hours = $252. Summing up those
partials, I got, for the today usage under the new pricing model: $384
compared to the current $60.

Do I have expect that the currently weekly fee is consumed in a single day
of usage or I'm doing something wrong with those numbers? Can I do something
to avoid making the app become too costly? I know that I can do something
about the spinned up instances, but I'm not sure if I can definitely reduce
the datastore operations needed by the application. Any tips about this?

Thanks in advance, and congrats to the team for the great improvements in
the previous releases.

Best regards,
