I have just checked with an image with GPS info and I correctly got back the EXIF. The lat/long info are in the dictionary with keys GPSLatitude and GPSLongitude. If this doesn't work for you, please send a link to the image in question and I can look into. In general it should work with images that have detected location in PicasaWeb or Panoramio after upload.
