I'm still seeing this error. Google team: Can you give us an ETA for this fix?
If you think it's going to take days to fix, I'll set up a non-dot email to send the emails, but if you think it'll be fixed soon, I won't bother (I always send email in a task queue task because email throws so many bizarre exceptions, so they're just sitting there retrying…) (I'm hesitant to implement the non-dot work-around, since my users might not get those emails because they've never seen a message from that address before, and therefore it may be considered spam.
