There have been many discussions on this topic. I think the general consensus is that it is pretty rare to find clocks that are out of sync by very much (seconds), but it is possible. Probably if you were seeing this across your whole app it wasn't the issue. If it was isolated to a subset of instances, perhaps. The instance is indicated in the log entries, you could always download them and see if there was a correlation between errors and the instance.
