After I migrated to HRD about 2 weeks ago, everything looked pretty good.
Then I moved on to python 2.7, things were getting interesting...

First, there was a DDE breakout last Monday or Sunday, I saw some others
got the same issue from this group. For 9 hours, frontend instance hour
went to 80 or 90.

Then I enabled "threadsafe:true", some strange logs showed up, many of them
starting with a warning from my code then followed by 'a new instance is
created therefore it takes longer to server the request....'. Frontend
instance hour usage didn't show much improvement.

It may be because my code doesn't handle multi-threading correctly, so I
changed to 'threadsafe:false'. Then there was another DDE breakout, I saw
others in the group raised the same issue, so appeared it is not only me.
For 9 hours, frontend instance hour stayed at 80 to 90.

Yesterday I switched back to 2.5, still on HRD. No errors since. For 9
hours, frontend instance hour back to about 26.

2.7 is still experimental, I totally understand. What rushed me to try it
out is the upcoming price hike (frontend instance hour discount is going
away), sadly, it is not experimental.

Best,

Will
