Good software gets better but great software also does nor regress first. As painful as is to configure static resource serving, it is by now a known evil and I have automated it. Hunting down regressions is unexpected and totally unproductive. Getting back to where this thread started I would like to hear that you will also/first add some benchmarks in your internal SDK testing process so that huge performance regressions like the ones described here will be less likely to happen again.
