We found we got 18% higher conversion rate by simply putting the "Pay with Paypal" logo on our sites
That makes a pretty compelling case for using PayPal... Allowing payment with Google wallet lets you have the Shopping cart logo in your Adwords campaigns and magically lowers your CPC.
