Wow there are so many complaints and issues around this already in the archives, I am surprised this hasn't been fixed.
My personal Google account is bobwilmes at the famous geemail dot com. I also I have an account I use for a small business that uses App Engine and geemail (paid business e-mail accounts) for the domain grillgroomers dot com. When I tried to create a new app under my personal account, it asks me for my SMS phone number which I dutifully supplied, but I keep getting an error message that the number had already been used to previously verify an account (which it has, since I am also the admin of the business account). Alas, as I spend so much of my time fight all these Google "annoyances" I am awaiting the O'Reilly book of the same name (similar to the numerous Annoyances books named for a certain software vendor located near Redmond Washington). Can someone at Google please contact me so I can arrange to use my current phone for multiple SMS verification uses ?
