Has anyone noticed significantly improver performance since the beginning of this month? Where a single instance handled about 4-5 requests per second, a single instance is now handeling 11-12! This has obviously lowered my billing :D
>From the beginning I expected a small single core instance to be able to handle about 10 requests/second. I always thought the over head of the datastore was very high. I hope Google continues to make these kinds of improvements.
