If you have to ask this question, the answer is almost certainly 'no'.
 Not because of Google, but because you are going to screw it up.

Better yet, use a third-party service like BrowserID.  For a less
polished approach, GAE's authentication system works fine.  They are
stupidly easy to implement, and don't run the risk of compromising
your users' passwords when your database is eventually leaked.
