There is typhoonae which is a compatible environment to appengine. http://code.google.com/p/typhoonae/ ie compatible api as well as tasks etc...
Otherwise you probably need to look at what elements of the datastore that you actually want and have a look at the myriad of nosql options that match your requirements.
