Just create a new one using an arbitrary appid, eg myappname-hrd. The exact name is for your internal reference only.
You then migrate from the current M/S app to the new app id. In this process this will alias the old ID to the new ID. So you will use the old ID to access the app. (No you can't change the database type of a created app. And you can't delete an app to recreate it as a different type.
