I am also using OpenID federated login in my application. I 
have encountered the same problem in my application. For better 
understanding i m posting a description of the problem below . 

*description of the problem*

   - generated login  URLs using  userService.createLoginURL() does not 
   redirects to  callback URLs with query strings 
   - given "*/<handler>?<Query String>*" pattern only results in redirect 
      to "*/<handler>*" and query string is missing after redirect from 
      login page 
   
I would like to know the cause behind this issue and also possible 
workarounds.
