Hi Alejandro,

How important is the original application id for you? Is there any strong
reason to re-use the orphaned application id rather than creating a new
one? If you use google apps, you can serve your app from your own domain,
so that the real app-id doesn't really matter.

I would say this situation is rare, and I don't think it's worth creating a
mechanism for verifying the app's ownership in order to cover this rare
case.
