Is there any way for me to send an HTTP PURGE request from app engine? The URL fetch docs seem to indicate that I can't. Is there another way?
I'm trying to dynamically clear the cache in a remote caching reverse proxy and need to send a request like this: PURGE / HTTP/1.0 Host: example.com Alternatively I can set up a remote service as a proxy to receive a GET from app engine and then send the PURGE request.
