Hi,

I am a developer, I have advised a company to use GAE to host their
application. I did not realize that it seems that there is no support if
they do not pay 500$/month. The application (Application ID: commanderepas)
is in test run in one place (a kiosk on a touch screen) since the end of
December so there is not a lot of traffic. Since Friday, the application is
unusable because most the time a DeadlineExceededException is raised when a
new instance is created. The issue (I am not the only one) is raised here :
http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=8806. The
application is the same since it was deployed and usually this request take
less than ten seconds.

I have made other web sites hosted on IIS, when there is a trouble, I can
check almost everything with Terminal Server. With GAE I am stuck with this
(http://code.google.com/status/appengine) claiming that everything is ok.

We cannot cope with down times like these without any advice or clue. I
have read the terms of service, but it seems that there is no support under
500$/month, am I right? Without paid support will someone at Google try to
find why suddenly something goes wrong?

Thanks for having reading me...

P.S.: I have had the same trouble during a weed-end at the end of December,
but on Monday everything was running well again. So I think it is not a
trouble with the application.

P.S. bis: I tried to post this message a few days ago but it did not show
up on the group. So I post it again, but now the application is running
fine since Friday at the end of the morning (in France), but I have done
nothing to it.
