Ok so I have a question someone on here might be able to answer. I don't
understand why I'd use android studio to develop game apps when I could
just use App Engine and get the cross-compatibility so my app could run on
Android and iOS devices as well as web browsers...not to mention the
recently revealed Google glass. I mean I know that I still need to write
the WAR directory but it seems like two paths to do the same thing but App
Engine has more benefits. Is it the cost side of using App Engine? I mean
Android Studio seems to be directed more towards the old school direct path
to writing platform specific apps. Is there something I'm missing? Sorry if
this seems like a stupid question, but I'm just learning about App Engine
and have always just used eclipse for my app development.
