I am trying to create a google apps engine webservice that has the ability to access a user gmail account. I am using eclipse and have the google plugins installed. I am trying to use the google oauth2 apis to ask to obtain the user permission and security token. I went to my google dashboard and got my “client_secrets” file. However my googlefu is failing me, I can’t seem to find any good google oauth2 samples for redirecting the browser to ask permission. I found a bunch of deprecated stuff but it doesn’t appear to work with 1.14.1 (which is what came with the google plugin for eclipse). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also when I looked at the API services I see 64 different services but none of them seem to be gmail.
