Have a look at https://gaeshiro.appspot.com/ with code at https://github.com/cilogi/gaeshiro. It does what you want with some stuff you don't -- Guice on top of servlets, Shiro for authentication/authorization, Google login via GAE user service and Facebook login via OAuth. You can get rid of the other stuff easily enough I guess.
