Hi Chris,
Unfortunately, even those who were not part of the Modules program were
affected. Some versions of the mapreduce library were importing
google.appengine.api.servers. So when that disappeared, my app broke.
In general, it would be great to get some guidance on how to use
google-provided but not-in-the-sdk libraries, like mapreduce, pipeline,
gcs-client. In the past, it seemed the recommendation was to use the latest
versions from svn and periodically update them for bug fixes. That didn't
work in this case because there was no communication to users of those
libraries that they would break with 1.8.2.
