Its still in 'Preview' https://code.google.com/p/appengine-gcs-client/ which technically is before 'experimental' I beleive.
BUT, its a module of code you include in your application, so you are responsible for upgrading. You are not being forced to update, just because the module is being removed or changed on the server.
