Hello

I have just launched a web application that does not attract a big trafic
so far. Lets say 30 visits a day. My website has a lot of images (> 10.000)
and connections between images
so far i have spent a huge amount of Money on Fronted Instance Hours (150
USD a month). Thanks to other chats et searches, i think i pretty much know
the principle behind the frontend instance hours.

what i dont understand however is that i have been told that the crawlers
might be responsible for that. Does it mean the other instance hours are
opened when crawlers come into my webapp ?
At the beginning i remember that analytics credited the web app with 17.000
visits a day (after search, i realized that the 17.000 visits came from
crawlers).

i must precise that overs the last 2 months, the price i paid for Frontend
Instance Hours has been pretty much the same (around 4$ a day)
So far i have reduces the number of Idle Instances to the minimum, which is
ok on my bill @ the end of the month

My questions :
High Frontend Instance Hours : is it really due to crawlers ? does it mean
that the more google crawls my website, the more it makes me pay ?
Analytics : is it common that analytics registers crawler visits ?

Thanks for your help !

M.
