MySQL (eg provided by Google Cloud SQL) is good if you need to do group by 
actions, joins or similar on certain datasets.

But otherwise it will never scale like Google Datastore that can be accessed by 
ten, hundred or thousands of instances simultaneously, delivering consistent 
performance throughout.
