Google App Engine released its new Socket library: https://developers.google.com/appengine/docs/python/sockets/
Does anyone know whether non-blocking sockets are (will be) available? I didn't have any problem calling setblocking(False), but select.select(...) on a GAE socket raises the following error (I guess because GAE sockets are not plain socket.socket objects): ValueError: select only supported on socket objects.
