I was asking specifically to Jeff, as he's a library designer. I'd love to move to Java 8, but with the most deployed java platform not supporting it I'm afraid about writing code that can't be reused. I'd love to see it on GAE, I'd love to see all Java features on it, current ones as well as futures ones <http://openjdk.java.net/projects/sumatra/>
