I too got the same problem when implementing.But the reason is the Eclipse IDE didnt generate R.java file while building the project ..I would recommend you to start over the whole client project so that R.java is generated properly.Instead of importing the code I would recommend you to create and copy paste the code into your classes like MainActivity and CheckIn.
