Very helpful... thank you for your help! So i've: -created a new user/password to access my instance -authorized my computer's IP to access the instance -found the IPv6 IP address for my instance
I've plugged all of these into my usual GUI MySql client Navicat and it gives me this error when trying to connect: 'Unknown MySql server host '[my IPv6 IP]' (10051) I've also tried to connect from the >mysql command line prompt using instructions i found... but i get the same connection error.
