PhilK is right, this app is just like a proxy. My first impression was that you are a Google App Engine customer, or you use a service that is hosted on GAE. But it looks like this app will just proxy every domain that is entered. There can be plenty of reasons why someone operates proxy servers, e.g. for safety reasons inside a company network, however normally for private user groups. You as a site owner normally shouldn't be affected by it.
