i find the logs viewer at console.developers.google.com unusable, and use
the legacy log viewer at appengine.google.com.

there are several open tickets in the public issue tracker about the "new"
logs console and both it's inability to reliably load as well as slowness
and confusing paging behavior. you can find issues (and file new ones)
here: https://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/list
