Apart from the main issue, deferred stores stuff in db if the payload overloads the taskqueue limit, so this process adds a bit of an overhead, but I would guess it's no more than 10 seconds (on the taskqueue side, it's db_pull + picker_deciphering), I haven't tested the overhead myself
