Hi,

Anyone else experiencing daily intermittent "Connection refused" issues with
GAE apps over the past two weeks?

My Python 2.7 app is entirely static, has not changed in months, runs fine
locally on dev server, and can be deployed without issues to live.

For the past few weeks, however, the live app is giving "Connection refused"
errors - randomly within any 24-hour period.

Nothing has changed with the app, and my domain name provider Network Solutions
say they cannot see any issue at their end.

I have tried different web browsers on muliple devices with different ISPs, but
the error when it occures is always the same.

So something has changed with Google's network or servers, and it's now
intermittently breaking - firewall rules, perhaps?

The custom domain is essaykit.com and the (always reacheable) Google domain is
essay-kit.appspot.com.

SDK is 1.9.40 on Windows 10.

Runtime is python27.

essaykit.com is always pingeable, even when it's generting connection refused
errors.

I attached traceroute screenshots.

Google Dashboard continually says "This app has not received any server errors
in the last 24 hours." Lol.

Any guidance would be most welcome,

Brendan Munnelly
