That does indeed sound correct! If you could manage to reproduce this 
behaviour any time in future, or if anybody finds this thread who is 
experiencing a similar issue, it would be very helpful to get the issue 
logged with as much detail in the Public Issue Tracker for App Engine, that 
way we could work on fixing whatever seems to be the issue. Glad to hear 
you got a workaround with --noauth_local_webserver, though.
