Could you clarify what you mean by "better team access" as this will help identify the best Cloud product to host your Perforce depot.
The current entire purpose of Perforce <https://helix.perforce.com/> is to allow easy team accessibility <https://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.current/manuals/intro/index.html#basic_concepts.centralized> to files using client Workspaces <https://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.current/manuals/p4guide/chapter.tutorial.html#tutorial.sync> and a depot Server <https://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.current/manuals/p4guide/chapter.tutorial.html#tutorial.start-server>, which requires open ports <https://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.current/manuals/p4guide/chapter.tutorial.html#tutorial.verify>to make the client server connections. This setup would be best hosted on Google Cloud Compute Engine <https://cloud.google.com/compute/>. Note that moving the Perforce process to the Cloud will not actually change the way Perforce was made to work. You may want to consider visiting the Perforce Community <https://www.perforce.com/community> for additional help on this, as Google does not support Perforce products. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
