Transactional Tasks are coming to the new Cloud Tasks API which will be accessible via App Engine Flex and other Google Cloud products. You can sign up for the Alpha release <https://docs.google.com/a/google.com/forms/d/1g6yRocQ3wtdTArfO4JX8DoqOhYmsoTVgrlFnS0mV1bo/viewform?edit_requested=true>of Cloud Tasks to try it out. Note there is currently no ETA for the Transactional Task integration.
