Hello Leigh, I think creating a CNAME record on CloudFlare pointing to *<your_app_id>.appspot.com* should address full SSL <https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200170416-What-do-the-SSL-options-Off-Flexible-SSL-Full-SSL-Full-SSL-Strict-mean-> configuration. Let me know if this helps.
