There is currently no native memory profiler for App Engine Standard, but 
it does sound like a good feature request to make on the issue tracker 
<https://code.google.com/p/google-cloud-sdk/issues>. Based on the 
information you provided, it's too early to tell whether it is related to a 
memory issue. You can try automatic scaling instead of basic and see if 
mitigates the error.

The issue is most likely lead to a specific situation and I suspect may 
require some exchange of code/project information to reproduce the behavior 
you described. In this case, I highly encourage you to submit a defect 
report <https://code.google.com/p/google-cloud-sdk/issues> as described in 
this article <https://cloud.google.com/support/docs/issue-trackers> so that 
proper attention and weight will be given to it. We monitor that issue 
tracker closely.
